MT1110

I wanted to review a cool new off road trainer, the MT1110. Off road runners have a tendency to be chunky. Yet the MT1110 maintains a sleek design while maintaining its ruggedness. Some of the features of the MT1110 are a Gore-Tex® XCR lining, ROCK STOP™ 2 outsole, Seamless Upper, SURE LACE™ closures, and Gusseted Tongue. It's a prefect blend of style and function.

Pretty Pink Zips

The new zip 8508 is here and as stylish as ever. I'm infatuated with the Grey/Pink color-way. It is a great responsive runner that is feminine and cool. The male versions are equally as sleek. This is a great shoe for a young neutral runner that wants form and function. It is a little on the narrow side so you may want to go up a half size if you are wide.

Shoe Update: 1009 Great All Around Cross Trainer

The 1000 series cross trainers have been one of New Balance's most successful series. Not only can you get a great workout in the gym, there is enough support and cushion to run up to 5K. This is an act that's not suggested in most cross trainers. The newest inception of the series is the 1009, which dropped recently. The lightweight ACTEVA midsole of 1008 was replaced with the Abzorb SBS, which provides optimal shock absorption with no compression set. The Abzorb EX heel of the 1008 has been updated with Abzorb DTS, which will provide superior shock absorption. The 1009 also features an External Heel Counter, Lightening Dry Lining, and Stability Web. The changes to the 1009 put in more in line with the fit of it's grandfather the 1007, but with better cushioning. If you have a mixed workout with some running this is a great multipurpose shoe.

New Water Performance 920-No more Icky Toes

  mens women

Anyone who as ever jumped out of a kayak into mystery slim, understands the need for water shoes. I've seen grown men freak out because of some unexpected "Icky Toes". Yet there is something very goofy about most water booties. The Solution, New Balance's Water Performance 920. This shoe is made to go right into the water. It's not water proof instead it has the H2Flow technology. The H2Flow is a series of internal channels that quickly move water and sand out of the shoe for fast drainage. The 920 features a Vibram® outsole with a water specific design and razor siping which maximizes ground contact, multi-directional traction and grip, water resistant upper, and quick pull lacing system. This shoe is great for the beach or fresh water sport. Call to order, Toll Free: 877-628-2672.

New Shoes Update MT811

The 810 was a popular All Terrain shoe that has updated to the 811 with several cosmetic changes. The diamond shaped scale design was replaced with a more masculine linear look. Also, the addition of the black color-way make it a nice work shoe option for those that need really good traction. The combo trail/run lugging on the 811 is just as heavy-duty as the 810 while still keeping the shoe lightweight. The 811 also features an Internal Shank for midfoot support and Abzorb EX in the heel for superior cushioning. With these cosmetic changes, NB has taken a great terrain shoe and given it more versatility.

The New 1350

I recently wrote about the MX1340 with its new full-length Abzorb EX. Nice additions to this new technology are the MR1350 and WR1350. These running styles employ similar technology fitted for high impact. The 1350 also features 360 Reflectivity, Air Mesh for greater breathability, and a Phantom Liner to reduce abrasion. All in all a comfy and sleek style for hip young runners.

1061

I've noticed that many people have been searching for the 1061 on the site lately. This is a great high-end performance trainer, which has been wildly popular both in the store and on the site. If you were interested in 1061 I'd urge you not to wait. The updated 1062 has already been issued. It too is a high-end neutral runner, that 1061 wearers would transition to well. That means the 1061 is in limited supply and the 1062 is not available online. If you have questions about the new 1062 or the availability of the 1061 please call us Toll Free: 877-628-2672
