Sometimes I will do a search in google news for the word New Balance. I find all kinds of stuff.

I recommend you to do that when you are looking for reviews on a particular shoe. Sometimes the wearers of certain models are our best testers. However, make sure you are reading reviews and comments from a website that is an expert in that area.

For instance, I just found some great comments/reviews about the New Balance 872 and the updated 873 at www.backpackinglight.com. These comments are from people who actually go out and use these shoes to hike and trail run.

Reading shoe reviews is a great way to find out about a particular model.

Last Tuesday, April 23rd. we had sort of an Anniversary. We've been blogging about all things New Balance for 3 years now! I almost didn't believe it until I went back and looked at our very first post.

So Congrats to all of the contributors here are NBTampa (John and Michele especially) and thanks to all of the readers!

Wow, those New Balance Shoes are getting around! I’m not sure that I’m the type of guy that would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. It's not that I’m scared of heights, I’m just not that big of a fan. I will say the view looks great.

Jim Davis who bought New Balance 35 years ago when the company was only turning out 30 pairs of shoes a day is stepping down. Davis and his wife state that they will stay very involved with the company. Davis also said:

“After 35 years of managing the company, we feel that it is time to introduce younger and more progressive management”.

The NB Zip 8515 is getting some love from the April 2007 issue of Men’s Fitness. It was named “Best in Shoe.” The magazine also had the following to say about the shoe:
