After traveling with these slip on shoes over Thanksgiving, I have to rave about how wonderful and easy they made my vacation. I wasn't planning on working out or doing alot of walking. Yet, I still wanted something that would be very comfortable and supportive for some mall walking or just walking through the terminals at the airport. I traveled by airplane and going through security was so easy. I slipped my shoes right off and back on.
The fit is snug and stays on your foot. I wore the
W801BS in 20 degree weather and my feet
stayed warm.

I love these shoes, they are one of my favorite New Balance models. I am sure the girl on you list would love any of the 801's which are available in a variety of color combinations in women's sizes.

Have you ever heard of Josh "Wisdumb" Spivack? He is an abstract artist. He is 23 years old and was a student at the Museum of Fine Arts School when he got a deal with New Balance to design a limited-edition sneaker rubber-etched with his black-and-white linework on a white high top 574.

Due to the success of the 574, things have started exploding for Wisdumb. He has also been commissioned by New Balance to design another pair.
