The history of the 990 series goes back to 1980. With a twenty year heritage, the 990 running series has withstood the test of time to provide excellent comfort and stability for serious runners.

The 992’s are built with two bottoms that will better match your feet. The ABZORB SBS^® is the maximum in cushioning which is in both the heel and forefoot. The heel is made of polyurethane with ensures durability and cushioning especially for larger framed runners. And also, which is a very big deal for New Balance, the 992 has continued to be made in the USA. Sizing for Men is true to size. For women, size up a full size, it runs a little short. The 992 is available in 92 different size variations between men and women. The 992 is made in 5 available widths.
